Finish your handmade jewelry like a pro with the techniques taught in this one day workshop. Learn how to texture "by hand" and "by machine", experimenting with numerous flex-shaft attachments, wheel polishers, and sanding sticks. Basic oxidation techniques will also be discussed. This is a great opportunity to bring in projects for guidance on how to obtain the finished desired look. Skill level: Intermediate/Advanced.

Ever wanted to play with clay, but don't want to commit to a bunch of classes? This fun evening class is just for you! Designed to introduce a basic understanding of handbuilding techniques, you'll learn to form, texture, and add color to create a clay project. It's an experience you'll want to repeat! Materials and tools used in the workshop will be provided and be sure to dress in comfortable clothes which can get dirty. Bring a bring a beverage of your choice.

This workshop covers the basics of leatherworking while creating and designing leather goods, such as wallets, purses, dog collars, teddy bears, etc….. Learn how to hand stitch, cut and manipulate leather with punch holes, apply rivets, grommets, and snaps. More advanced skill levels can learn how to use a leather sewing machine. Tips and techniques will be shared for completing your choice of project with a very polished look. All levels are welcome.

Learn the technique of kiln carving, also known as glass embossing, in this afternoon workshop. Various sizes of fiber are cut to construct and create detailed designs, which once fired will make deep carved shapes in fused glass. Tools needed during the workshop will be provided; all skill levels are welcome.

Create a stunning fine silver ring featuring a large 8mm cubic zirconium in a contemporary setting. You'll learn to easily make a hollow form in which to set a stone, as well as choose a surface design for a creation uniquely yours. Bring your metal clay tools and an agate burnisher. Intermediate/advanced skill level required.
