Painting Party

Start with basic drawing materials and skills and work your way up to various types of paint mediums from watercolor to acrylic and pastels. You will even combine some of these to create stunning mixed media pieces.

Art Explorer

One of our most popular and diverse camps!  Your child will be transformed into an "explorer" as they journey throughsculpting in clay, painting on canvas, and creating textile and paper arts projects.  A new medium will be introduced and explored each day.  Supplies are included.

Craft Guild Experience

The ultimate camp adventure for the most curious, creative spirits interested in multiple mediums.  Experience all of the art discplines the Craft Guild offers continuously for adults.  Projects will include clay, glass, painting, bookbinding, and more.  Pack and bring a lunch each day as the class is structured for students to stay all day. Supplies are included.

Fun With Fabric

Dye it, weave it, felt it!  Discover and learn techniques fiber artists and textile designers use to manipulate fibers and fabrics.  2D and 3D pieces will be created.  Supplies are included.

Color and Texture

Create colorful and fun collage 2D works of art, combining different materials and manipulating wonderful papers.  Supplies are included.

Mixed Media and Glass Arts

Learn how to experiment and combine wire, wood, glass, clay and other media, as students explore glass fusing, mosaic design and other glass methods to make a variety of art pieces from start to finish. Projects include a glass/wood box, mixed media sculpture, and other fun projects.  Supplies are included.

Glass Art Warm and Cold

Discover and explore glass fusing techniques and mosaic designs to create unique glass pieces.  Choosing from a variety of colorful glass shapes, your student will make decorative and functional objects, such as window ornaments, fused glass dishes, and wearable jewelry.  Supplies are included.

Reuse, Repurpose, Recreate

Have fun from using repurposed objects to create whimsical artworks. Projects will range from useful objects like hanging light fixtures to decorative pieces such as a stained glass window.  Supplies are included.

Acrylic Painting

Explore the basics of painting with acrylic paint.  Your child won't even realize they are learning color theory and the principles of design!  Fun projects include a self-portrait, still life, landscape and abstract art.

Learn to draw, beginning with simple shapes.  As the week progresses, more complicated subjects will be introduced.  A variety of media, such as charcoal, pencil, and pastels will be used.  Inspiration will come from life.  Supplies are included.

Oil Painting

Manipulate colorful oil paints into impressive works on canvas.  Learn color mixing, composition, and value topaint both abstract works and realistic subjects. Work on your own level with individualized attention from the instructor.  Supplies are included.

Jewelry and Metalsmithing

Geared to the beginner "metalsmither", basic techniques will be taught to make wearable jewelry and art.  Learn how to cut, shape, hammer, texture, solder, and patina various metals. Design concepts will be introduced.  Students repeating this camp will have the opportunity to practice and advance their design skills; advanced projects will vary.   Supplies are included.

Bookbinding

A very unique art form - bookbinding! Learn how to make books for sketching and writing. The complete process of putting a book together, from sewing in the pages to making book covers, will be taught.  Wonderful materials such as cloth, beautiful marbleized papers, leather, and other decorative options will be used.  Supplies are included.

Another fun "hands on, hands in" clay camp!  Shape with various handbuilding techniques to create abstract, figurative sculptures, and functional objects - the projects are limitless.  Methods used and taught include pinching, coiling, slab building, and modeling.  Supplies are included.

Printmaking

Unique opportunity to exploreand learn the methods and processes of printmaking techniques, including silkscreening and linoleum block printing.  Bring your original designs to work with multiple colors to make limited editions of your images.  Supplies are included.

Discovering Bronze Metal Clay

Super fun, creative camp in which bronze metal clay will be used to create at least three projects, such as pendants, earrings, and/or a bracelet.  The creative possibilities are endless as various textures, shapes, and patinas can be chosen for each individual design.  Jewelry pieces will be fired in a kiln overnight and will be ready to finish the following day.  Students repeating this camp will have the opportunity to advance their skills.  Supplies are included.
